About this painting... The Freedom Village Store is a place filled with cherished memories for me. As a child in the 60s, my father would take me there every for penny candy, where townsfolk and summer visitors gathered to share local news. Over the years, the store has changed hands many times, but in 2026, Kevin and Belinda reopened it with a fresh look and a vibrant new. They’ve revived the community spirit with their warmth, welcoming smiles, unique home goods, fresh local produce, and the opportunity to showcase the works of Laura Faith Arts. I encourage you to stop by, enjoy a chat, explore their wonderful items, and view some local prints of my watercolor artwork.
About this painting....A Stop at Willoughby is an old-fashioned general store and antique shop in Effingham, NH. Owner, Mark Wood named the store after is favorite Twilight Zone episode about a peaceful, idealized village. Mark has truly captured the essence of this beautiful community. He has also been so kind to feature many of my local watercolors.
About this painting....The Freedom Village Store holds many memories; in the early 60's my sister and I sat patiently outside on the wooden bench in front of the gas pumps while my Dad chatted with the local residents and the shopkeepers. It has changed hands through the years, but in 2026, Freedom was fortunate to have Kevin and Belinda purchase the property and transform the historic spot into a vibrant part of the community. They offer uniquie home items, regional specialty provisions and localized merchandise. A big thank you for carrying Laura Faith Arts watercolor prints!
